Removal & corrections, explained
Can I remove my name from the Nova Scotia Sunshine List?
The official disclosure is published by the Nova Scotia government under the Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act and is legally public information. You generally cannot opt out of the government record, but you can request a correction if a figure is wrong, and ask this site to suppress your profile from its search results.
What if the information is inaccurate?
Submit a correction request with the accurate figures using the form above. To fix the official record itself, contact the publishing ministry or your employer's HR/compensation office.
Will removing my profile here delete the government record?
No. Removing your profile only takes your name out of this site's search results. The official government disclosure remains public.
Who do I contact about the official disclosure?
The Nova Scotia ministry responsible for the Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act, or your employer's human-resources or compensation office, which submits the figures.
